Humanity has been preventing disasters since the dawn of time:

Why stop now?

Since the very first humans roamed the Earth, it has been in our nature to prevent adversity and come up with new ways to deal with the issue of the time.

When we were cold and faced with freezing temperatures did we freeze?

No, we built fires to prevent frostbite.

When humans were faced with predators and threats from the natural world, did we let it our stature get the better of us?

No, we fashioned tools and our ingenuity to find a way to survive and protect ourselves.

When humans foraging for food no longer could sustain growing populations, did we starve?

No, we found alternative ways to get food through agriculture.

When oceans kept us apart, did we simply stay put where we were?

No, created boats and sailed the seven seas.

As a species, when we have been met with threats, disasters, and hardships, we have responded with innovation, through problem solving and have came up with new ways to keep progressing and moving forward.

As you can see, this cycle of problem and solution has been a critical and has led to so much innovation to make our lives better, so why stop now?

Modern solutions in a modern world

We have come a long way since fires and agriculture, and as we continue to pave our way into the future, new problems arise, and they require nuanced solutions.

Disease has been an issue that has been an adversary to humanity for a long time, costing the lives of millions throughout our history.

When being faced with the issue of disease, did we allow it to spread and take us out?

No, why would we stop now?

Just like every other problem humanity has faced, we have come up with the solution to help deal with.

So what did we come up with to fight disease? Vaccines.

How about you?

You certainly didn’t get to where you are because you gave up. When faced with adversity, you overcame it, and when you knew what challenges lay ahead you made sure you were prepared and able to take them on fully equipped with tools to foster your success.

Think about when you were in high school or college and you had final coming up: did you study and prepare so you would get an A, or did you set yourself up for a hardship come exam time?

When you had your first job interview, you prepared for it, your first presentation? Also prepared for it.

Your whole life you have been preparing yourself for what’s to come, and you have succeeded thus far, so why stop now?

We are seeing diseases and viruses on the rise, and ones that we have already beaten medically come back, some of which are deadly.

We have vaccines to prepare your body to take these viruses on and win, the science backs it, they are proven to help you succeed in fighting the hurdles of disease off, so why stop now?

Why stop preparing for the potential challenges to come? Why stop taking the extra steps to make sure your future is bright?

Why stop continuing to set yourself up for the best possible life you can have?

Don’t quit while you’re ahead, don’t stop now; get vaccinated
